Upgrade, with a new number

I’d like to upgrade my contract, but would like a new phone number.

What’s the easiest way to go about this?

Makes no diff! It'll cost £36 either way.

Alternatively you could just take out a new contract & cancel the current 1 & save £36. That way as you wouldn't be upgrading you would need to wait until end of contract term whereas you could upgrade 45 days earlier.

@wretchro : Why do you want to change your mobile no.?

Call CS & they'll change it for £36. The charge might be waived if you can show you are being harassed.

Personal reasons.

Is it better for me to perform the upgrade first then change the number? Or have my number changed first & then upgrade after

I’m not paying £36 with a crime reference number for abuse and stalking maybe look into that asap and get back to me!

Hi @Rachylou111983

Welcome to the community.

Could you explain a little more about what the problem is with upgrading and we'll do our best to help? Have you spoken to our Mobile Care team?

Chris

@Rachylou111983 : Then it is quite possible that EE will waive the charge if there is criminal activity.
