Tried porting my number across.

Im in the same boat. Tried porting my number across. EE screwed it up, blaming O2 who have told me they have send all the required files to EE twice now. Been with complex team 4 days. Literally been told 4 different things now and that once it's with them it should take:

24 hours
48 hours
72 hours
and now on the phone with them and being told 7 days. 

Spoke with exec team - they couldn't care less - utterly useless. Cannot do online banking as cannot receive OTP's. 

Literally regret leaving the world's worst network to join one which seems even worse. 

IF ANYONE IS READING THIS AND IS THINKING OF JOINING EE, PLEASE CONSIDER IT VERY CAREFULLY. THEY ARE VERY QUICK AT SIGNING YOU UP AND TAKING YOUR MONEY, AFTER THAT THE CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE SUCKS.

Number transfers usually go through smoothly, I'm sorry that this hasn't been the case for you. The complex team are the right team to be looking into it. Hopefully it's all sorted and transferred across soon.

Well currently your exec team have told me it's just a waiting game. No human intervention apparently. All automatic which is pathetic.

Resorted to buying a PAYG sim just so im contactable. Really leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and serious regret moving across. Should have stayed where I was to be honest. 

Hey Lucy I am also going through this.. promised it would be done within 24 to then nearly a week later it still not been done.. I keep getting passed from pillar to post and everyone tells me something different.. I have phoned them back today and they can't sort it over the phone so it apparently has gone through to the complex team.. which it did the other day.. I have a disabled child as well that people will be ringing etc about and now they are saying Friday I'm so angry about it all

The same has happened to me as well I just keep getting passed from pillar to post my son is disabled as well so I will be expecting phone calls etc and it's already been 4 days and now I'm being told to wait until Friday I've literally had enough

I am very sorry this has happened when transferring your number and understand how frustrating this must be for you. 

You have done the right thing reporting this to our mobile guides to get this investigated and the complex team will be doing everything they can to get this resolved for you as quickly as possible. 

Once the team have an update for you, they will be in touch to let you know. I hope this is all sorted soon for you.
