Transferring contacts

If a replacement sim, in a different size  (for an existing number) is ordered online, will my contacts be preloaded on the new one?  Or will I have to go into my ee store for them to swap Sims and transfer contacts?

Depends whether your contacts are stored on the phone or the SIM. Usually they are stored on the phone. Only in the unusual situation where they, or some, are stored on the SIM will you need to take your old SIM into an EE store.

@XRaySpeX  Sadly, the resized sim is going in a new phone, so guessing it will be a trip to the shop!

I doubt that EE stores transfer phone contacts between phones but the manufacturers usually provide utilities to do so, e.g. Samsung Smart Switch.
