I have transferred from Plusnet to EE, I inserted the new sim yesterday evening. Just wondering how long I have to wait before my old number is active. I provided the PAC number on the form I filled in online, it also appeared on the delivery note. Do I have to do anything else?

Hi @AdieB,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
If your SIM was activated after 5:30pm, please allow two working days for your number transfer to complete.

to Ofcom, transfer/porting of number should be completed within 1 working day.
Once you have given your new provider the PAC, they will notify your current provider of the port request, and your number should normally be ported and ready to use with your new services within one working day.
