You may just ask CS to transfer your PAYG no. to your new contract.

Hi @Klaudia14
Welcome to the community.
It's fantastic to hear you have ordered a new plan with us.
Is your previous plan on pay as you go or pay monthly?
Thanks

You should have performed an Upgrade rather than ordering a new plan. That way you get to keep your no.
EE won't port nos. between its contracts. So you need to 1st port your existing no. to another network's PAYG using a PAC from EE & then in reverse port it back to your new contract. This will also have the effect of cancelling your old contract.
You could alternatively move your old contract to PAYG with 30 days notice & then ask EE to transfer the no. to your new contract.

@Klaudia14 Just as one last thing to double check too, have you tried inserting the new SIM, and does this definitely have a separate number?
If that's the case I would definitely recommend following some of the above advice, but sometimes we will send a blank replacement SIMs with your upgrade just in case, but this won't have a separate number and only needs activating if your old SIM is no longer working.

Or use the 14day cancellation to return the new order and then upgrade instead.
There may be a reason why EE haven't mentioned this, but it's another option.
