Transfer old ee number

I have just switched from pay as you go to pay sim, how do I transfer my old ee number to the new sim? I’ve seen plenty regarding transferring from another network, and whe I type in the pac code it through up an error.

PACs are only for between networks. You'll need to call CS to transfer your PAYG no. to your new SIM.
