Switching to EE

Good evening,

I recently switched to EE from another company and kept my phone number. The new SIM card I got had a different number, but my original number still worked. However, now I'm having trouble with iMessage and FaceTime. It seems like these services won't work because my phone number isn't linked to the SIM card in my phone. If anyone has dealt with this issue before, could you please suggest a solution?

@noonelhilu  Turn off iMessage and FaceTime and restart the device.  Check your number in settings>app>phone if it shows correctly you can enable iMessage and FaceTime again

if you’re still waiting for your number to port over you’ll have to follow this procedure again once it’s ported over as I message on FaceTime lock on to the number that’s on the SIM card and it doesn’t change when your number is migrated.
