Switching my current number to new EE contract

Hi I’ve recently taken out a sim only contract with ee and im currently with the network three. When I took the sim only contract out I didn’t realise I could enter a pac number to port my old number over to ee, so now I have a new ee number. I was just wondering can I still port my old number onto the new ee contract even though I have been assigned a new number? I tried doing a search on here to find other posts that are similar but couldn’t seem to find any. Thanks

You can port into EE at any time, replacing whatever is your current EE number.

If you want to keep your old no. from another network, you need to get your PAC from other network & once you've activated your EE SIM give the PAC to EE using Fill out this quick form to transfer your number .

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Like @XRaySpeX  has said above,

Or alternatively you could put the EE SIM in a phone and send the text of PORT to 150 and this will take the PAC code and number you wish to port and give you a timeline for when it should take place.

Generally I prefer this solution as it ensures you know when you can expect it to take place.

Hi @Adamsc1992 Just to add to the amazing previous advice, your number would still need to be active on your previous network for them to issue you a PAC, if the line is no longer active, they'd be unable to generate a PAC for you.
