Switching from Business to Personal - cancel first?

I'm out of contract on a Small Business SIM but weighing up my options of what to do next and whether to stick with EE.

If I request a PAC code and decide to start a Personal SIM-only deal with EE rather than a new Business deal, can I use the PAC code to keep my number and port it from EE Business to EE Personal or will the PAC code only work for porting to a different network?

@fizzgig : No, you may only use PACs to port between different networks.

You would need to port your number to another network's PAYG using a PAC from EE and then in reverse port it back to EE.

But can't you just ask CS to move you to personal from business?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Moving between a personal & business account can easily be done by calling CS on 150. The new account holder will need to be credit-checked, unless you are merging with an already live billing account.

Business accounts can have personal-user plans, just not vice-versa.
