Switching from BT Mobile To EE

Morning,

Thinking of switching my 4 family plan sims from bt mobile to ee and moving the existing moblie numbers of to ee too but have a couple of questions which I have asked several helpful ee staff in the mobile care team but werent 100% sure.  The questions are:-

  1. I was told that the move of the numbers from bt to ee would happening automatically without a pac code and this would happen instanstly.
  2. When the new sims arrive in the post will there be documentation to tell me which existing bt mobile number will go with each new sim

Any help would be truely appriated?

Welcome to the community. 

If the transfer happens instantly without a PAC code and is a simple migration you should receive information on what number is on each SIM once you receive them.

I’ve just tried to transfer a Bt mobile service to EE and as above was told as soon as the sim was put in the phone and a call made the old phone number would switch straightaway … it hasn’t

Could you try restarting your phone this morning please? Let me know if it's all changed over.

Hi 

switched two phones from BT to EE

Received a new sim for each phone in a seperate envelope with note giving new and old numbers

port happened automatically (although not quick,a good few hours!)

Now having trouble seeing phones on the EE app!!!!!

Thanks for taking the time to let us know what's been happening.

It's great to hear that your phones are up and running and that your port is now complete, with your numbers moved. 

Were you able to see your phones in the app before the port, or are you just setting this up now?

MyBT worked a treat

EE App not so good Still cant see either phones on app. Cant set Spend Cap, Parental Control

Have not tried BBand or TV yet as still waiting for Full Fibre indstall, fingersb crossed

Can I just check if you had waited until after the port went through to complete the setup of your online account?
