@VonnieCavendish have you backed everything on your phone in the past? By logging into your account with Apple and if and when you get another Apple phone, you will be able to use the backup if you have done so and not lose anything.
Mine always back-up automatically, and I always have a reserve IPhone and IPad, so know that if anything happens am straight back up again.

Hello @VonnieCavendish ,
Welcome to the community,
Please ring customer service and let them know that your phone and SIM card was stolen so that they can send a replacement SIM card with the same mobile number, it will come with a new IMEI number.
You can also contact them using something like Skype:
08000798586
If you are near an EE high street store you can go there with photo ID.

Unfortunately I am away from home and no landline here! Also all my cards, purse car keys, driving licence and bus pass so very difficult to contact EE. Yesterday phoned Apple who were excellent and found location of where the phone was. Phoned the local Police who were supportive but not able to find out who had it. I will speak to another officer tomorrow. Also through a card insurance the Fraud squad will get in touch tomorrow. However until later tomorrow as I have no cards or cash it has been a nightmare, especially as the landline here is not working!
Thank you for your response and hopefully if the Sim can be blocked I will not lose everything on phone. I will have to try and get a replacement phone at some point.

Yes I am pretty sure it was backed up. Good idea about a second phone. Am in late 70's so not easy for me to purchase another one. Will look on refurbished ones though. Thank you so much for taking the time in sending replies. Luckily my home keys were in my pocket so that was a small mercy!

Thank you am cat-sitting so no phone working here but will try downloading an App on this iPad. Thank goodness I have the iPad and have used it to contact Apple etc.
If they have removed the Sim card on my phone, can they use the information on it?
Thank you for support.
