Sim not provisioned

I had a new sim 3 days ago.  I changed to EE from tesco and keeping my number. I've put my sim into my phone and it says sim not provisioned.  I've also tried it inside a different phone which EE works on and it still says the same thing. I spoke with EE and they said the number I've been given was disconnected. But I should be switched over within 48 hours. 3 days have passed and still not working.

Any advice on how to fix this please

As you have exceeded the 48 hour timeframe I would recommend getting back in touch so the team can look into this further.
