Samsung S22 esim occasionally stops making and receiving calls

I have an EE business eSim in my Samsung S22. Occasionally it doesn't respond to incoming calls and they get forwarded straight to voicemail, and I get a 'missed call' text a few minutes later. Similarly when trying to make calls it looks as if it is trying to connect the call but just sits there doing nothing. If I cancel the call and try again it sometimes goes through, and sometimes fails again.

The phone is updated to the latest software.

I have tried a physical SIM from a different provider in the phone and that seems to work fine. The problem occurs both when the phone is on network and wifi calling.

Any ideas?

Hi @Noj70.

I know you've said this happens on both the network and WiFi Calling, but just looking at the network for a moment, does this happen in multiple different areas or just one place?

Are you doing anything to fix this yourself, as in restart the phone or anything?

Jon

There's no real pattern to it, the mobile signal is normally good when it happens, and the WiFi is strong as well. Previous phones in the same locations haven't had an issue. Restarting the phone sometimes helps, but it's not guaranteed.

Thanks @Noj70.

I'd recommend getting in touch with our Tech Gurus about this so they can raise an investigation ticket.

They may ask for a few examples of this happening, including dates, times, and location.
