Hi @Angelina23456

Thanks for coming here.

Is the SIM on pay as you go or pay monthly?

Did you use the new SIM card in the UK to make a call or send a text on the EE network?

Leanne.

Hi there,

I pay monthly and no I just bought a new SIM card in Bali. Also my phone never had a physical SIM card, it’s a digital one.

Thank you

Is your phone unlocked to accept another network SIM card @Angelina23456

Leanne.

Yes I checked on my account and it says it’s unlocked

Hi @Angelina23456

Sorry, could I just check did you order a new EE SIM card when in Bali or have you purchased another network SIM card?

If this is an EE SIM card, is your old SIM no longer working?

Leanne.

Hi,

sorry no, in April I bought a new sim card with EE, in June I bought a new IPhone with EE, yesterday I came to Bali and bought a new local sim card so I can use internet.

Thanks @Angelina23456

Could you check the device is unlocked here, just to make sure this will work with another network SIM card.

If so, you would need to contact the other network to get this looked into, as this is not an EE SIM and roaming would only need activated for the EE SIM card.

Leanne.

Yes I did check it there and it says it’s unlocked. But I did buy my iPhone with EE and thought that there is other ways of locking it

Thanks @Angelina23456

The other network SIM card should work in the phone if this shows unlocked. Could you try another SIM?

Leanne.
