Hello, I’m changing from a pay as you go 02 sim to a EE Sim only. I would like to keep my 02 number, would this be possible? And would it mean waiting 12/24 hours for my number to change over?
please let me know
Thank You

You need to get your PAC from your existing provider, and then give that to EE which will serve to port your number across, normally the following working day.

Hello @Orangefan88 ,
Welcome to the community,
In order to keep your number, you need to get a PAC code from 02, which you would then give to EE, once you have your SIM card from EE. Do not do this over the weekend, though, as PAC transfers are not done over weekend and bank holidays, but it does take around 24 hours to move your number, you will know when it has transferred as 02 will be cancelled and EE should then work.

- Request for fancy number in SIM cards & Porting
- Services haven’t been restored in Mobile Services
- Finland -EE mobiles no longer working in Finland & 150 calls do no work! in Roaming
- Not receiving OTP codes in SIM cards & Porting
- SMS messages show wrong number after porting to EE (Samsung S25 Ultra) in SIM cards & Porting
