My physical Sim card will not work properly on my S21. Re-inserting will sometimes work for around 10min then disappear again.
I've no access to an EE shop for a week. I cannot contact EE because I need to call them which obviously I cannot do 😵💫
How can I get an eSim that will have my number and my current plan included? I'm probably being thick but I cannot find anything about this on their site.
Oh, and that's another thing - the EE app doesn't work either. So frustrating. Why isn't there a chat app on the website?

Does your phone have multiple SIM slots, and if so - is the problem consistent across both?

Yes, same on both sides. Usually won't work but may work for 10mins thereabouts and just display "No Service - No SIM" again

Hi Christopher.
I managed to use the chat app to talk with someone who sort of helped me.
However, when I tried to order the eSim there was message telling me I needed to keep my original SIM card activated so that an activation text code be sent for the eSIM. As my physical SIM won't work, this is incredibly frustrating.

No they've made it so convoluted to get an eSim. I'm having a nightmare the last few days.
Took me hours to find the page to order it from. Then it says I need my original SIM (which doesn't work). After I hit order anyway it says I have to do it on the EE app which now won't work either. Message keeps saying "We're having problems"
My god. I'm giving up for tonight but tomorrow it will have been the FIFTH day of this nonsense 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Welcome to the EE Community
You can swap to an eSIM through the EE App. Just click Manage > Settings > Replace My SIM.
Alternatively you can generate a QR code to scan and install the eSIM through your EE Online Account
Your existing physical SIM still needs to be active for either of these options to work.
If you have lost your SIM or it's no longer working, you'll need to call customer service on 150 or pop into any EE Store with photo ID for a replacement SIM or eSIM
