Hi,
I have a friend who would like to try out EE for a time to compare EE's services with their current network. They will likely buy some packs and run a new EE number concurrently alongside their existing mobile network.
Once they are happy to make the switch, is it possible to transfer the number from their other network to EE over to the already active EE account, whilst keeping existing pack and boosts? Or will they have to start over to do the number swap?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi idoan 👋 if your friend is happy with EE all they need to do is port there old number over which in my case took about 24 hrs & whatever pack & boosts there using on EE will stay the same . So your friend won't have to start over the pack & boost will remain the same .

EE allow you to port a number in using a PAC at any time.

I kind of already knew that, but what about existing pack boosts? After porting a number across, would they still retain any pack boosts on the ported number?

Yes, porting a no. to a PAYG SIM will not change the plan current on the SIM.
Get the PAC from the current network & give it to EE using Fill out this quick form to transfer your number .
