Porting timeline? activated last Friday still waiting?

Good Morning, 

we activated our new sims from EE last Friday and as of this morning still have the temporary numbers on our new phones and active service of our old number/provider on the old phones. Now paying two bills… just wondered if the bank holiday is likely cause for such a delay or if we need to be doing anything?

@FlyingBuffalo  Numbers are not ported over the weekend and the bank holiday your number should of started to be ported Tuesday and been completed by Wednesday,  I would call customer services about this as it should of been completed by now.

Thanks Chris. Have called and sure enough even though supplied on line at purchase and confirmed by sales support over the phone during ID checks afterwards, there was no record of PAC codes or porting requests at all. So a kind lady in Newcastle tech support has just actioned the porting of lines for us and hopefully we’ll have success tomorrow. Appreciate your time responding and the advice provided.
