No signal

I have put new sim into new phone and activated and followed all the steps. I have turned off and on a few times, turned off data, tried numerous things and it’s been nearly 48 hours and I can’t ring 150 coz I have no signal! what can you suggest please??

Is it a brand new connection or is it a replacement SIM card? Is the phone from EE?
