I was in store yesterday and ported from sky to EE however nothing has happened yet, online suggests i should have received a text from EE to confirm it has started - i’ve not received a text so does that mean it was done incorrectly in store?

No. will be ported within 1 working day of you activating your EE SIM on EE network.
