Porting from voxi to ee physical to eSIM

Hi,

new to EE broadband and seen deals for sim only deals with EE. I’m thinking about switching over. My voxi sim is a physical sim but thinking about moving to eSIM. What im looking to find out is when I place the order and enter pac code etc for my number to be ported can I place the order as an eSIM and basically have the voxi physical sim still in phone and use that until my number has ported over to EE eSIM or am I better ordering a physical EE sim and then converting to eSIM once my numbers been ported over?

You will initially get a physical SIM which you can later convert to an eSIM.
