i upgraded tp the Samsung S25 ULtra 356 Gb after i had been into an ee Shop to talk agbout an Esim the new device was delivered next day but i an unable to get the esim online - the physical sim was swapped into new device and now i get an Error code 1-403 when i try to convert online

Just to be sure, am I correct in thinking that you've tried putting your physical SIM in the new phone, and this isn't working either?
If that's the case, I would recommend visiting one of our retail stores with a valid passport or UK driving licence, and we can make sure your SIM is activated correctly.
