Porting & transfer of number

I have just moved to EE and have an iPhone & activated SIM card last night with PAC code. I got a text telling me transfer was complete.

When I check settings in my profile shows new EE number and being asked to change number to access Apple  purchasing etc. & currently when I call the number I want to keep it goes to EE voicemail.

if the transfer is complete why is the number not changed?

Welcome to the community.

Are you using the new EE SIM card? It's possible that you can get 'split service' up until midnight on the date of the port.

Thanks for that - gone 6pm and still going to email.

Also the old number doesn’t show up on iMessage or FaceTime! Wife ignored a message as she didn’t recognise the number!🤔😳

Hi @StBob 

Are you still experiencing the wrong number showing and calls going to voicemail today? 

If so, can you try turning Facetime and iMessage off in the iPhone settings and then restarting your phone and turning them both back on, does the correct number show?
