Unable to port

Hi guys. I have been trying to port/transfer my old number to EE but when I put in my PAC CODE, it brings up same error message of Please make sure your PAC code is correct. It’s the right code but it won’t let me go past that stage. I’m frustrated. I have called O2 and they have advised to call EE but I have not been able to get through to anyone. What can I do?
