Ported-in number is not shown in my phone

I have just moved from O2 to EE, and my phone is now using my old ported-in number. Lovely. BUT. My phone still shows the number as the EE Sim card number that I was sent. How do I stop this incorrect display?

My apologies for not mentioning the make of phone. I was a Samsung S24 Ultra
and a S24. Following my last submission, an EE customer Service agent fixed
it on both phones. There was a problem ( my fault I think) in the way the
account was set up, and it had to be reset at EE.

Thanks very much for your interest and help

Hi @Skumba

Welcome to the community.

What phone are you using?

And when did your number port over to EE?

Thanks

Where does your phone still show the original, temporary, number?

My O2 number was ported in to my phone yesterday around midday, and my phone
is using that number BUT it still displays the temporary EE number in my Sim
Manager, and also in ABOUT PHONE under Phone number.

If I call another phone, my correct ported-in number shows, so the problem
is only on my phone.

@Skumba  On what phone ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
