I’ve received the 3 new EE SIM cards but wasn’t sent any instructions. I’ve searched on this community and found an example that says you need to insert the new sim, then use it and my old number will transfer automatically. Do I call or text anyone and this activates the sim? I’ve read that my old BT number will transfer automatically overnight so I just wait? The BT sales person wasn’t a lot of help and suggested I contact tech support. Thank you

Have you inserted the SIM?
If yes, does it connect to the network?
The number transfer will be begin once the SIM's are working.

thank you, yes I have inserted the sim, phone was turned on and it shows a mobile phone signal. I guess the transfer will now start. Do you get a message when it’s done?

You should do, yes.
Port-ins are normally actioned the working day after activation/PAC submission.
In your case, that should mean tomorrow, Wednesday 11th.
