I changed from Plusnet to EE and what a nightmare. I wanted to keep my old number and a tech from Plusnet was very helpful. When the new sim was inserted I had to send the PAC number which the techie had already sent to EE. I was then informed that either I could have a minute's conversation and my number would automatically transfer or wait until November. November for heavens sake!
The EE Number is now on my account and the change over in November despite the minute's conversation. I rang EE but the usual long wait and blasting music ( why do they assume that we are all deaf?) By then I had had enough.

Hi @Leajayse---
I am very sorry to hear this has happened.
When did you make the call from the EE SIM?
Speak soon 🙂
Leanne.

Hi @Leajayse---,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
If you activated your SIM this afternoon, your number transfer should complete tomorrow.

Hopefully it will. Meanwhile what about the number EE gave me? I've got my own and that one both on my phone.
I really will be glad when this is sorted. Between heart failure and COPD it really is not something you want or need to deal with.

I hope you're OK @Leajayse---
Your Plusnet number will transfer to the EE SIM card and the EE number will be deactivated.
Let us know how you get on today 🙂
Leanne.

No problem at all @Leajayse---
The full transfer can take up till midnight to fully complete, you can text NUMBER to 150 and the reply will let you know the number that is active.
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.
