Physical to eSIM

I have placed order from EE for physical to eSIM conversion and downloaded it in iPhone but generally other eSIMs are 2-5 minutes for activation but this eSIM is showing activating since last one hour

 Then called 150 from physical SIM, he told me to delete this and download new from EE app, I did the same over the call but it also got failed.

 

Then he placed eSIM QR code order for me which will get delivered to my home in next 2 days and he also waived off 1.50£ for delivery as this is EE technical glitch.

Just called 150 from physical SIM and customer supported mentioned that it takes 24 hours

Are you on PAYG or pay monthly contract.

Are you in the UK.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

@Rky  You don’t need to order an eSim to change from a sim to an eSIM you can just swap this on the device directly.   It even has in blue wording CONVERT TO ESIM in the device> settings mobile data. , just press that and it converts the sim directly to the eSIM on the device. 

  1. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Mobile Data.
  2. Tap Convert to eSIM. If you can't see Convert to eSIM, your network provider doesn't support this option. ...
  3. Tap Convert Mobile Data Plan.
  4. Tap Convert to eSIM.
  5. Wait for your eSIM to activate. ...
  6. Remove the physical SIM from your iPhone.

 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I tried this, thank you but same error. Let’s wait for delivery as looks like this is technical glitch. I liked the above steps, will try other operators sim to convert as other sim also has ‘Convert to eSIM’ button
