Hello
How old is this Sim Card? Is it a PAYG or Pay Monthly?
EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 180 days of non-use. You then have a further 90 days to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You need to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

If your SIM says "not registered on this network" then the SIM is dead, your phone is locked to another network or you're abroad and haven't activated the SIM on the UK network.
Thanks
