Hi @Kev5fdp,

Is this a new sim or phone?

I'd recommend checking for problems in your area using the Network & Coverage Tool.

Put in your postcode and choose your phone model, then click 'Check Status'.

@Kev5fdp  have you tried taking the Sim card out and give it a clean.?   You might have a faulty SIM card so you’ll need to request a replacement SIM card.  This can be done by calling customer services or by going to a EE store with photo ID.

This isn’t a network issue as the device states no sim.   That means the device doesn’t see the SIM card, this could mean there is dirt on the sim or the sim is faulty.

This isn't true.  I was told by EE today that that error can show when the SIM is OK but the network is in error.

You were misadvised.

A "no SIM" error means there is an issue with the SIM. A network issue would cause different error messages.

Then EE support "misadvised" me, twice.
