No signal with physical sim card inserted

I have an old Iphone I have been using with an Esim absolutely fine, then this week the signal just went to nothing, I tried reseting the phone everything. I then inserted the phisical sim card I had sent out a month or so ago thinking maybe that decativated it somehow. Both were showing no signal so I did a full factory reset on the phone as a last resort and I now only have the phsyical sim in the phone but am still getting no service. I cant recieve any one time codes to activate the sim, what am I to do?

Hi @tjeffs2015

Did you transfer the physical sim to an Esim, or did you order the Sim to replace the Esim.

You can only have one account active on one sim or Esim.

Thanks

The phone was originally with Three, maybe that is blocking it also? How do I unlock the handset? The Esim worked fine though? I had an Esim then added the physical sim and have since deleted the Esim and done a full factory reset on the iphone

If the phone was working with the eSIM, it is not going to be locked @tjeffs2015.

When you say you added the physical SIM, do you mean you just put it in the phone, or did you order the physical SIM?

If the eSIM has been deleted and the physical SIM is not working/not registered, you'd need to get another SIM or eSIM requested.

The quickest way to get one is by going to an EE store, if you have one nearby and you are the account holder. You'd just need to take some photo ID (either a passport or driving licence) and the store would activate a replacement with your number for you.
