Rcs not working on new sim

I could use rcs this morning but when i changed my sim to another ee sim it just says the sim and phone are longer compatible how do i fix this

Is the SIM PAYG or pay monthly contract.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

I'm not too sure but I'm 90% sure it's monthly but my old sim was inactive for 6 months and rcs worked so I'm not sure.
