Phone number in About Phone is different to actual one

I’ve had my current Android phone for five years. Back then my contract was part of my BT account. Because I needed a new SIM card when it arrived the number shown in About Phone has remained different to my actual number.

I’m buying a new Apple phone soon and would really like the correct number to appear in it.

Can this be done remotely by EE or does it need them to send a new SIM card?

@XRaySpeX , that’s useless!  Fortunately that will be resolved when I get my new one.

Yes, it is useless. Fortunately it has no purpose in life & doesn't affect you.
