Phone number about to be cancelled

I moved over to EE a month ago on a monthly rolling contract. It is a sim only plan.  I have received a message in my settings to say that the number is registered to my apple account but not associated with the phone and that the number is about to expire.   I really need some help because I cannot have my number cancelled.  Has any one else had this issue when moving over to EE?  Will my contract definitely renew each month as online is says that my contract ends today but then it also says that my data will refresh in two days - it really isn't clear at all.

Hi @Kate1610

It sounds like an Apple expiry notification, nothing to do with your EE account. Have you got multiple numbers listed in your Apple account, maybe it's an old or temporary one that's about to expire?

Maybe try removing and adding your number again?

This is from my daughters phone.  We moved her contract over from another provider.   I used to have my contract with EE and I moved over to another provided.  I'm hoping that EE haven't got confused and muddled our contracts up - if that makes sense

Check what numbers the phone has listed under Facetime/iMessage, there's probably an old or a temporary one from before you ported over?

I've checked and it had her current number listed.   I have removed it and readded it and the message seems to have disappeared for now

Great, but as this is an Apple notification, it has no effect on your EE account. That said, it's always a good idea to check the bank has the direct debit set up, and it gets taken on the day EE say it will, just as a precaution, to avoid any issues.
