Pac code in different names

Hi,

I'm looking to take a second line out for my wife and transfer her number across from O2 with a pac code. But her account is in a different name to mine will the pac code still work?

Hey @Nickppppppppppp!

Welcome to the EE Community 😊

As @rkelly1 mentioned, PACs are only tied to the number rather than a particular name, so the account holder on O2 doesn't need to match where you're moving it to on EE.

When you take out a second line this will have a temporary number assigned to it initially, and you can then give us the PAC to swap your wife's number over once you're ready.

The PAC will still work as it's specific to the number it is issued for but if the account is in her name, she will need to be present to order the additional sim

Thank you Peter, I've started the transfer so hopefully should go through ok then.
