Order confirmation via text

I've ordered a sim card to transfer my current service provider to EE. And then I received a text from EE who asked me to call back to confirm the order detail (it also has my order number in the text).  Yet while we are going through my order, they send me a link and asked me to fill in my credit card number. I feel weird about this as I already provide my credit card when I placed the order. Why do I need to fill in my credit card information in a new link again? This makes me it is a scam.

Does anyone face a similar situation? Do I really need to complete this to get my new sim card?

Hi @joannemark0925

Thanks for coming here.

Did you call our sales team on 0800 956 6000

I would give them a call and ask what details are required to complete the order.

Leanne.

The number was 0800 956 6042.
