I used to use Giffgaff, before switching to EE several months ago. On Thursday, I (after a long search) finally found where to fill in the form. I got a PAC from Giffgaff and gave it to EE along with my old number. I received an email saying it would take a day. I had to put my Giffgaff SIM in to get the PAC and then put my EE SIM back into my phone. It says I would receive a text - on what SIM? - and I have nothing, and it says I could put my EE one in after, so did I replace it too soon?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

It takes a working day. That doesn't include w/ends & B.H.s. So next Weds. at the earliest. Any texts from EE will come to your EE SIM.

I am having the same problem, Ive sent in my PAC code 10 days ago and my old number still does not work.
the number to phone does not work and dialing 150 does not help as there are no topics to cover this problem.
Having just joined EE Im not impressed with the service.
How do I solve it, go 30miles to a EE shop?
Or give up?
doent EE want anyone to speak to a Human?

Hi I did and hopfully will be resolved by tommorow.
The downside is some operators don't read the information one has printed on the chat and asks for the information already given. I presume the are governed by their PC.
Anyway fingures cross for tomorrow and thanks for your assistance.
