Old account. New sim only contract. Same number

Hi,

I was with EE previously, I currently have no active SIM card with EE. I have two lines on my iPhone 15 - one physical sim (Sky) and one e-sim (O2).

I want to replace my O2 e-sim so that I have an e-sim with EE using the same phone number. I have gone through the process of putting a sim-only in basket but it states it's a physical sim and can't find a way to make it an e-sim.

Why is this so difficult to do nowadays 😞

Hello @3quid ,

Welcome to the community,

You first need a physical SIM card then once you have it, you can then request the QR code to change it to an E-Sim.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

OK. Thanks for the clarification.

Any idea why we still have to physically send a letter with some plastic in it just to throw it away and request a QR code that could have arrived days before?

Do I put my PAC code in during checkout for the Sim or when I request the change from Sim to ESim?

@3quid , you put your PAC code when you put your SIM card in your phone, as you will need to do this before requesting the esim.

Ok. But I have my other line using the physical sim slot. So, I have to take out the SIM I do want to use and put in the SIM  I don’t want to use before I can get an eSIM? and then switch them back?
