I’m leaving Vodafone and moving to EE.
I’ve supposedly ported my number, as my number I want is showing in the EE app.
But when I go to call my number it goes straight to Vodafone voicemail? Which means people can’t get hold of me unless I have my old iPhone on and rings my current iPhone (if that makes sense).
anyone else had this issue with different networks while during the process of cancellation?
Thanks

@EG1511 Have you turned off iMessage and FaceTime and restarted the device? If you do this then go to settings>phone does your number show correctly? If it does you can then re-enable iMessage and FaceTime. iMessage and FaceTime you get stuck onto the first number of the Sim card that’s put into the device so when the number port happens it doesn’t change in iMessage and FaceTime so a restart of the services is required to change the number from the temporary number that was on the sim to the now ported number.
have you also received a text message from EE saying that your number port is now complete?

I’ve done what you’ve said to do the iMessage and FaceTime.
I’ve checked my number which is correct.
I haven’t received anything from EE that my numbers been ported. However I did phone EE and he said I was calling from the number I want.
Whenever someone wants to contact me the phone line is just dead. No voicemail or anything, just cuts out.
