Join new plan and sim card

I have just joined a new plan online. It showed order completed and got a confirmation email. And the email shows the new number will be ported to my current number in 24 hours. However, it doesn't show EE will posted me the sim card. When will I get the EE new sim card? And when will the service start????

Welcome to the community,

Sim cards are sent out by second class post, but you can always go into an EE high street store with ID and get one there and get it set up.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
