I have purchased a new contract sim with EE to switch over from o2. When i ordered the sim card i provided the PAC code to keep my number.
I received the sim card on Wednesday and put the sim into my current phone at around 11am. I received a few texts from EE but then put my old sim card back in whilst the number transferred so i could continue to receive calls and texts.
I've tried the EE sim again today and the number still has not yet switched over.
Please can anyone let me know an update on this and when i can expect the switch to happen?
Thanks

@Kimberley1695 I recommend that you call customer services as it should’ve changed over by now. Unfortunately with it being Friday and the time of day it is it will not be ported now until Tuesday as a ports take 24 hours so it will commence on Monday, number ports do not happen over the weekend.

I have exactly the same problem: my old number still not transferred from O2 to EE after 2 days of using new EE SIM.
Looks like the system is broken and it's either ignoring the old number and PAC code provided by me or failing somewhere without notifying me.

Hi @kostya1,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Have you reported this issue to Customer Care?
They'll be happy to help.

I have called EE Customer Care, they looked at it and manually requested the number transfer again. They said it should complete on Monday.

An update: my old number transfer is still not done.
I called EE Customer Service again and they escalated it to MNP team and asked for 3 days to investigate it.
I guess I'm just unlucky...
