i just joined EE from giffgaff..
when i signed up online,, i asked tro have my giffgaff number ported .. i gave ee the pac code.. and
my sim arrived today... but with a different pre installled number on the sim..
and i cant see on the ee app or site where to change it.. or why it was not changed

Thanks for coming here.
Your SIM will arrive with a temporary number which you can use untill your number port completes.
When you give us your PAC while signing up, your number should transfer to us the day after you register your EE SIM.
If you pop your SIM into your device before 17:30pm your number port should complete at some point tomorrow.

Sorry to post a correction, but it's an important one. As per my bold, porting is done on working days only.

- Old number not transferred properly in SIM cards & Porting
- Pay as u go sim in SIM cards & Porting
- Was told I can upgrade to a full roaming contract in Roaming
