Number Porting

Good Afternoon,

I placed an order Sunday 13th November and provided the PUK code with the order, All last week we had nothing porting across.  Last night even though my old (Tesco) sim is still working i put the EE sim into the phone.  I can place a call from the EE (Showing the ported number on other people phones), but no can call/text me on the number? Even if i go into settings in the iPhone to change the number to the correct ported number it wont fix?  Any help please?

@cgooding82  you need to turn off iMessage and FaceTime and then restart the device. Then check your number is correct in settings. Then you can re-enable iMessage and FaceTime if it is correct.

Hi, Thanks for you reply, This still didnt work.

Old Sim card with Tesco still working, New EE Sim card can only make a call but not receive one.

Hi @cgooding82.

Did you give us your PAC or a PUK code? These are different and a PAC would port your number over.

Yes, I provided the porting code during the order, its just weird that i can make a call from the EE just not receive any calls.

If your old SIM is still working, you'll need to get in touch with our Customer Care team.

It doesn't sound like the port has completed.

Another question if anyone can answer, When i signed up on Sunday the 13th November, It was on the essential sim 125, The offer indicated that there wont be free addons to take the data up to 200?  When should this show on my online account?
