Number Porting from Plusnet

I recently moved to EE from plusnet , due to plusnet ending their mobile services.  i generated and submitted the PAC code etc  to also move my mobile number over, and got an order  confirmation which seemed to indicate that would take 1 day.

 

however the order was about 5 days ago now, new EE sim arrived and is working , but the mobile number still hasnt ported over, any ideas how long it will take and how to push it along ?

When did you receive the EE SIM card? 

Is the Plusnet SIM card still working?

Hi,

the EE card arrived on Friday, and the PlusNet one is still working, but i installed the EE on e on the phone today to see if that was the reason why the number port hadn't happened yet, and i also needed to have it in place to enable me to properly create my online account,. (as needed to link the ee sim with the account id created)

Once the SIM is inserted and activated the number transfer should complete the next day for you. If you would like to make sure this is set up please call us on 150.

great thanks, and by when you say "activated" you just mean by inserting it in the phone triggers what you call activated ? or do i need to do anything else ?

 

as the other issue i get quite poor actual mobile reception at home, so a little concerned how it picks it up

on a different topic

i don't suppose EE sell "signal boosters" as well do you,  kinda like the old Vodafone sure signal box's ? as the phone in question doesn't support wifi calling.
