Not receiving messages

i recently signed up to a contract phone and i just put my new SIM in my phone but when i call 150 the AI assistant says she sent me a message with all the details i need and i never receive any messages, and when i try to message 150 i get nothing back. please help.

Which phone do you have?

If it is an IPhone, could you please switch FaceTime and IMessage off, reboot and see if the messages arrive, and if they do, you can then switch both back on again.
