It's been doing it for the last 2 days is it just mine or has this been happening to other people and an ee error?

Welcome to the community.

Have you tried removing the SIM and re-inserting it? May be worth restarting the phone as well.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

@Deano1987   A sim error/no sim is not a network issue it’s a device/SIM card issue.  If a clean of the sim doesn’t fix this you’ll have to request a replacement SIM card.  If you have a faulty sim you’ll see the not connected to the network message as the sim is part of that network connection.
