New sim due to fraudulent activity on my account and cant upgrade

So yesterday had someone gain access to my account somehow. So got all off that sorted and went to the EE shop to get new sim cards for my phones. I am eligible for an upgrade but now on my online account it says I can't do it. Is this because of the new sims I had yesterday and will I be able to get things sorted so I can upgrade online shortly?
