My SIM is not receiving calls and texts

So 1 day I went to sign into my email but I didn’t get a text and that was in February and recently I tried to login to snapchat it said I needed a code so I sent it but when I sent the code to the phone number it did not receive it.

@notLuckyTM that is why you have no service and have lost your number, as with pay as you go, if you do not make a chargeable call or text you will lose the number, unfortunately. See here:

Can you send & receive other texts?

No it just doesn’t work

Are you on pay as you go or monthly contract?

How long ago is it since you have used your phone?

Do you have a signal showing?

I’m on pay as you go

I last used my phone on the 24th of June

I have no signal showing

@notLuckyTM  Have you made a chargeable call or text in the last 6 months? It could have gone int hibernation. 

Have you tried rebooting your phone? Do you have another phone you could try to put your SIM card in, to make sure that there is no fault with either the phone or SIM card?

You could also take the SIM card out, give it a wipe and the area where you put the SIM card in to see if that makes a difference.

I have not made a call on my sim ever I’ve wiped every where on the sim I’ve put the sim in 5 phones the sim chip isn’t broken and the phones I have tried it on iPhone 11,Samsung ace galaxy gt-5830i,Samsung ace galaxy gt-5830,Motorola and it just says “No Service”
