Lost phone while on holidays in Greece. Sim card deactivated and looking for a replacement card. I will not be in the UK for another couple of months. Does anyone know if I could get the replacement sim posted to an address in Greece? If that is not possible could the replacement sim be sent to an EE store in the UK and have someone else collect it for me (power of attorney?) to have it posted to Greece? Thank you

@Yiannis13 It can not be posted abroad by EE, you could have it posted to a store and collected but it’ll also need to be activate it and make sure it’s working before that person posted it to you.

Thank you Chris_B. For a person to collect the sim on my behalf what kind of documentation would they need to bring with them to the EE store? I suppose they will be asked for proof of ID with my name on it. Is that the case? If so, would power of attorney work for this purpose or is there another alternative that can be used? Thank you once more for your help

Hello @Yiannis13.
You can order a replacement SIM to the address registered on your account.
Alternatively, it would need to be yourself visiting the EE Store with photo ID.
Have the relevant documents been sent in to register this person as your Power of Attorney?
If yes, they should be able to collect a SIM.
Katie 🙂

Thank you very much for your answer Katie_B. When you say "have the relevant documents been sent in to register this person" what do you mean? Do I need to send the documents to EE? If that is the case what is the process? Are there any guidelines as to what documents I need to send and the address of the relevant EE department or email?
Thank you once more for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

The process is probably similar to that of Ill Health in Change my account in the case of a life event
