Hi all, I lost my phone a few days ago on a landscaping site. I have just received a new one from Apple. I have set it up but how do I get a new sim? It’s a iPhone 16. Can I get an eSIM? I’ve tried downloading one on the app but it says it needs to verify me but the fails everything before verification starts. Can’t call EE as no network obviously. Have tried messaging them but nothing back in over 2 hours. Any help would be great as desperately need to be back up and running properly and don’t really have time to go into shop. Thanks, Pete

An EE retail store can issue you a replacement SIM immediately, on presentation of photo-ID.
Otherwise contact EE-CS on 07953 966150 from another phone, to report your SIM lost - a replacement SIM can be posted second-class Royal Mail to your billing address.

Thanks for the info. Am I not able to download a eSIM any way?

Once you have a physical SIM installed & activated, you can convert to an electronic SIM if you so desire.
Out of interest, what is it that appeals to you about eSIM?
